Vivian and Claudia Chan Shaw have created an exciting new range of rugs for Designer Rugs.

The Vivian Chan Shaw label is known for its beautiful hand loomed knitwear, vibrant colours and soft fluid shapes.

The goal of this collection was to translate the essence of drape, flow and movement to rugs.

This collection includes six designs, all rugs are hand-tufted in 100% New Zealand Wool, selected designs feature highlights of Viscose.

All designs are available in the standard size 200 x 300 cm and can be custom sized and coloured.

 Vivian Chan Shaw began her fashion career in the 1960's and launched her eponymous label in 1972.

In 2009, Vivian Chan Shaw won the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award at the Fashion Group International of Sydney Awards for Excellence.

"It was wonderful working with the wool swatches in the Designer Rugs showroom.

Playing with the colours to create the rugs was a very similar process to the way in which we work when colouring a design for our knitwear".
